Country Music Legend Charlie Daniels Says ‘Trump Loves America’ While Schumer is ‘Doom’ and ‘Gloom’

Country musician Charlie Daniels, who is best known for his #1 hit, “The Devil Went Down To Georgia,” sent out a tweet today praising President Trump while slamming Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer.

What’s so great about Trump is he loves America and is always full of hope. It only takes one look at Chuck Schumer to see what the other side represents, doom, gloom, hopelessness, despair, failure, despondency, sadness, impossibility, discouragement, dejection, woe is us!

Earlier, he had tweeted out in support of the NRA and the Second Amendment declaring that he would “fight to the death to defend my home and my family.”

They want all of your guns. Hi, I’m Charlie Daniels and I’m probably about doing the same thing you are right now, sheltering in place, all doing our part to try to rid our nation of this horrible plague that’s come on us. I just thank God that I can spend this time at home in Tennessee on my favorite place in the world we call it Twin Pines Ranch. It’s my home, it’s where my heart is, it’s where my family is and I’d fight to my last breath to defend my home and my family. And by the looks at the lines at the gun stores lately it looks like a lot of other people feel the same way, that they want to defend themselves which is our constitutional right that we are guaranteed in the 2nd amendment. But if left up to some politicians, all you’d have to defend your home with would be a stick, and some rocks and if you’re lucky a slingshot, because they want your guns, they want ’em all. No matter how many times they tell you they want one caliber, they want to take this rifle, or that rifle, don’t believe them, they want all your guns. There’s an outfit called the National Rifle Association and I’m proud to be a part of. I’m a lifetime member. They’re on the frontlines, they’ve been there for many, many years defending your Second Amendment rights. I am a proud lifetime member of the NRA. God bless America.
