Executive VP and Chief Marketing Officer Allison Gollust has resigned following the conclusion of an investigation into Chris Cuomo and issues associated with his connection to his brother and former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Gollust’s relationship with former CNN President Jeff Zucker supposedly led to him resigning earlier this month.
Following Zucker’s resignation, there was speculation that Gollust would be next as one former CNN senior executive said of her employment, “I can’t imagine it is tenable.”
A memo sent to employees at the company by WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar said that the investigation “found violations of company policies, including CNN’s News Standards and Practices, by Jeff Zucker, Allison Gollust, and Chris Cuomo.”
“I realize this news is troubling, disappointing, and frankly painful to read. These are valid feelings many of you have,” the memo continued.
The memo also claimed, “We have the highest standards of journalistic integrity at CNN, and those rules must apply to everyone equally.”

We previously reported that Chris Cuomo is reportedly looking for a big payday after being fired from the network in December.
It would seem that Gollust’s resignation is the final domino to fall in the situation and it will be interesting to see what happens moving forward.
