Judge in Rittenhouse Trial Blasts Prosecutor for Bringing Up Verbal Statements by Rittenhouse on Day Separate from Alleged Shooting, Gives Him a ‘Final Warning’

During today’s portion of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, the prosecutor, Thomas Binger, brought up an instance when Kyle Rittenhouse, on a different day than the shootings, told rioters that he wished he had his gun so he could stop them.

Judge Bruce Schroeder stated that it wasn’t a similar enough situation for it to be used in today’s court hearing as he chewed out the prosecutor after asking the jury to leave the room.

The judge would have liked the prosecutor to have asked permission beforehand to mention that information. Rittenhouse’s attorney, Mark Richards it appears, (you can’t see his face in the video) said to the judge that if the prosecutor does something like that again he will ask for a mistrial.

In the partial clip, you can see the judge chewing out the prosecutor. Judge Schroeder warned the prosecutor not to step out of line again. Watch:

Previously Rittenhouse had the curfew charges dropped and earlier today and ongoing he has been testifying on his own behalf, crying at one point. It’s being widely reported that although the case isn’t over the prosecution is not going a good job.

Stay tuned for more updates.
