Nancy ‘People Will do What They Do’ Pelosi Claps When Joe Biden Shockingly Claims ‘We Need to Secure Our Border’

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) clapped tonight when Joe Biden claimed that “We need to secure our border… and fix the immigration system.”

The statement by Biden also got a standing ovation from U.S. Sen Ted Cruz (R-TX) as well as other Republicans.

Kamala Harris also clapped, eventually, and after Pelosi took the lead.

The applauding from Pelosi seems to be in contrast to previous statements such as her infamous “people will do what they do” in regards to the tearing down of statues.

Former DHS Acting Secretary Chad Wolf wasn’t buying what Biden was selling.

In a tweet, Wolf declared, “That mention of border and immigration security was lip service. Nothing more. No vision, no strategy.”

“Just a wish list and another hollow push for immigration reform legislation. I think the President may have forgotten he has authority to fix the crisis NOW,” Wolf insisted.

Fox News’ Bill Melugin reported about the situation, “Biden calls for the Southern border to be secured. Migrant encounters for FY’22 are already up 126% compared to FY’21 which was the highest year on record.”

“220,000 ‘gotaways’ since October. Much of the technology he talked about was never built after wall projects cancelled,” Melugin explained.

Whether Biden intends to secure the border or not, he has now said that’s his plan so it’s up to him to follow through.
