UPDATE: For clarity, it appears the picture of the woman on the left in the cover photo is one of the others involved that day and not the one who was arrested in the center photo, for context. You can watch the video at the end of this story for more perspective. Story below:
We initially reported on this story on the 21st, after a viral video took the internet by storm:
Moments after Democratic Nominee for President Joe Biden gave an awkward speech at the DNC convention about ‘light, and unity’, something crazy happened. It is being reported, and with a video to boot, that a 7-year-old boy was viciously attacked by some angry Biden supporters.
It appears he was there with others to peacefully use his free speech to oppose Joe Biden with his MAGA hat. The women in the video were NOT tolerant of that at all of course. The shocking clip shows a woman ripping up a sign and then grabbing the child’s MAGA hat.
Then we later provided coverage on the aftermath, where the 7-year-old was reported to be getting some unlikely attention, and a new hat, from President Trump himself, which you can read about fully here.
Johnson followed that up by saying, “It looks like Riley will be getting a very special replacement hat…” Johnson also shared a picture of Riley in a “Keep American Great” hat standing beside what appears to be his mother who is holding a “Women for Trump” retractable banner.
It is now being reported that the alleged ‘attacker’ is named Olivia Winslow and she has been arrested and is being charged by Wilmington, Delaware Police. WDEL.com reported in part:
A 21-year-old woman was arrested in connection with an anti-Trump incident, that was captured on video that’s gone viral, on the final night of the virtual Democratic National Convention on Wilmington’s Riverfront.
Olivia Winslow was handcuffed Friday, August 21, 2020, after Wilmington Police were called to the 600 block of Justison Street the evening before for reports of an offensive touching incident involving a 7-year-old boy.
Video circulated on social media, by Students for Trump, shows two girls, one police said was Winslow, tearing up Trump signs and stealing the young boy’s “Make America Great Again” hat. The video shows the boy crying, and his mother encouraging him to get his hat back.
Ryan Fournier tweeted out that if you “play stupid games you win stupid prizes”.
“BOOM! Olivia Winslow, the woman who attacked a 7-year-old Trump supporter and stole his hat at the DNC, Has just been arrested and charged with robbery, conspiracy, and endangering the welfare of a child. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.”

Olivia Winslow, the woman who attacked a 7-year-old Trump supporter and stole his hat at the DNC,
Has just been arrested and charged with robbery, conspiracy, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Something that supporters of President Trump’s often joke about is a popular joke called the ‘Trump Curse”. Of course, hexes and curses aren’t real and this is just an ongoing joke, but if they were real, you could definitely say this is the ‘Trump Curse’ effect right here. It is unclear if the charges will stick or what penalties Winslow may face.
It’s also unclear what Joe Biden thinks or if Antifa and BLM will riot and loot over this arrest. Peace-loving Americans can only hope that they do not in our opinion. We believe that all people are innocent until proven guilty and Winslow will have her shot at justice as anyone else should.

Why?
Because he was simply showing his support for President @realDonaldTrump.
