145,000 Fulton County, Georgia Ballots Will Now be Audited After Judge’s Order

There’s no doubt in the mind of Republicans and Democrats alike that the 2020 presidential election was a total disaster. Many think there was fraud, mostly Republicans and supporters of former President Donald Trump’s. Nonetheless, most mainstream outlets have made it clear that the election was on the up and up.

That hasn’t changed the fact that many swing and red states have been scrutinizing their elections to see if everything that went down last November was legitimate. Arizona has been doing ballot audits in Maricopa County. It’s reported that Wisconsin has been pushing to audit some of the votes.

Donald Trump has double down on his claims that Biden didn’t win fair and square. Despite his censorship from Twitter and Facebook, he continues to play a strong part in the GOP’s process going forward. Georgia’s Republican Governor Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger have faced Trump’s wrath for not going more to scrutinize the vote, and both have drawn challengers to their seats from the GOP.

Breitbart is reporting that Fulton County, Georgia will have to audit 145,000 absentee ballots now. Previously, National File reported that that county still can’t provide a chain of custody for these ballots, six months later. see below:

Breitbart reported:

The audit will allow for the examination of signatures on the ballots to ensure that they are legitimate, according to a George Star News report.

“Voter confidence in our election system is the bedrock of our republic. Unfortunately, inconsistencies in Fulton County’s November 2020 absentee ballots cast serious doubt on voters’ faith in our elections,” former Sen. Kelly Loeffler said in a statement.

Georgia residents have been particularly concerned about Fulton County.

Files provided by county officials show there are no chain of custody documents — absentee ballot transfer forms — for 385 out of the 1,591 dropbox collections that took place in Fulton County between September 24, 2020, and November 3, 2020, the Georgia Star News reports.

Meanwhile, Arizona’s Maricopa County is undergoing a complete forensic audit of the November 2020 election after the state’s Senate Republicans expressed their desire to ensure the legitimacy of the votes.

Time will tell what the eventual outcome will be from Georgia and other states re-analyzing the votes. One thing is for sure, Covid-19 made 2020’s presidential election different than any other with more mail in votes than any other recent election. Many are not happy with that and think it may have changed things.
