House Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Chair of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence has not yet had his fill of pushing allegations against President Trump, despite accusations from the GOP that he is a habitual liar. It appears Schiff is announcing a brand new whistleblower complaint against Trump’s Department of Homeland Security.
“We’ve received a whistleblower complaint alleging DHS suppressed intel reports on Russian election interference, altered intel to match false Trump claims and made false statements to Congress. This puts our national security at risk. We will investigate:”

Former I&A Acting Under Secretary Brian Murphy is reported to be the one who the complaint is filed on behalf of. The first paragraph of the introduction reads:
This complaint concerns retaliatory actions taken or threatened to be taken against a longtime public servant, Brian Murphy (“Mr. Murphy”). The retaliatory actions were taken and/or threatened to be taken in light of at least five sets of protected disclosures made by Mr. Murphy between March 2018 and August 2020. The protected disclosures that prompted the retaliatory personnel actions at issue primarily focused on the compilation of intelligence reports and threat assessments that conflicted with policy objectives set forth by the White House and senior Department of Homeland Security (“DHS”) personnel.
Schiff sent a letter that accuses Ken Cuccinelli, Chad Wolf, Kirstjen Nielsen, Miles Taylor, and Kash Patel of possible wrongdoing.
The AP is reporting more details on Murphy including allegations that details of the threat of ‘white supremacy’ were possibly downplayed to appease President Trump.
“BREAKING: A Homeland Security official says he was pressured to suppress details in intelligence reports that President Trump would find objectionable, including information on Russian election interference and the threat posed by white supremacists.”

AP reported in part:
An official at the Department of Homeland Security says he was pressured by agency leaders to suppress details in his intelligence reports that President Donald Trump might find objectionable, including intelligence on Russian interference in the election and the threat posed by white supremacists.
Brian Murphy also says in a whistle-blower complaint filed with the agency’s inspector general that he was demoted from his position for refusing to do so. The former FBI agent and Marine Corps veteran had served as principal deputy under secretary in the Office of Intelligence and Analysis.
Currently, the left and Trump opposition is preoccupied with a quote about Trump ‘downplaying’ the messaging on COVID that Press Secretary McEnany says was only meant to keep Americans calm while the president did everything in his best judgment to protect Americans from the virus. Time will tell if this new ‘whistleblower’ situation will turn into something more or fall to the wayside as we run-up to the presidential election in just a matter of months.
