While Republican Electors are attempting to contest the election while President Trump and his campaign continue to protest the 2020 results of the presidential race, failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has spoken.
Possibly bitter from losing to President Trump in 2016, Hillary has announced, complete with a photo, that she is ‘proud’ to cast her vote in New York for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Clearly, this is a bittersweet moment for her, assuming Biden continues on into the White House next year.
Hillary knows if there was no electoral college she might be the president today instead of Donald J. Trump and that is something that will most likely haunt her for the rest of her life. Hillary tweeted out about an hour ago:
“I believe we should abolish the Electoral College and select our president by the winner of the popular vote, same as every other office. But while it still exists, I was proud to cast my vote in New York for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.”

Earlier we reported about Republican Electors in Georgia and Pennsylvania voting and still fighting for President Trump in an effort to keep the campaign’s status in ‘disputed’. Our report read in part:
This afternoon both the Georgia and Pennsylvania Republican State electors casted their ballots for President Trump as the legal battle continues. The Pennsylvania GOP and the Georgia GOP chairman released two different statements regarding the decision.
Both Pennsylvania and Georgia did cast their electors to Joe Biden but the GOP electors voted for President Trump. In both states, the president was winning handily on election night but then lost.
The GA GOP Chairman, David Shafer noted that since the GOP electors cast their votes for President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, the Trump legal team still has time to protest the election and try to make his case.
The Pennsylvania GOP statement stated, “We took this procedural vote to persevere any claims that may be presented going forward.” It is unclear what exactly this will do except give the President more time to fight this in the courts.
Both the GA GOP and the Pennsylvania GOP seem to be behind the president and with him as he is fighting for his life. There looks to be more hearings coming up and potentially more opportunities to plead their case. It is widely reported that if President Trump’s legal challenges in the 2020 election fail, there is a good chance he’ll be running again in 2024.
