During an interview today, former Republican Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich criticized Georgia Democratic Senate candidate Rev. Raphael Warnock, who is facing off in a January 5th special election against Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler.
Loeffler tweeted a video of the interview earlier, calling it a “MUST WATCH” and suggested that Gingrich took down Warnock’s “EXTREME agenda.”
“He is the most radical major party candidate for the Senate, I think ever in American history,” Gingrich said during the interview, describing Warnock.

Gingrich said about Warnock that “Heās said you canāt be in the military and serve God. Heās described the police as thugs and gang members and says theyāre an active danger to children.”
“And thatās without getting into his theology and the people he admires who believe deeply in an anti-white theology,” Gingrich continued.
Gingrich said that Loeffler has a 3 to 4 point lead which he expects to widen and “I think the more people that realize that Warnock is this radical the more trouble heās in.”
Loeffler, for her part, appeared to disagree with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell after he appeared to abandon President Trump as she tagged him in a tweet and said, “I will never stop fighting for President Trump because he has never stopped fighting for us!”
I will never stop fighting for @realDonaldTrump because he has never stopped fighting for us!
