Judge Andrew Napolitano has been thrown to the wolves, AKA canned by Fox News. It is being reported that Napolitano is accused of sexually harassing multiple Fox News employees. The real kicker here is that they were male employees, to top it off. One may wonder if Judge Nap was ever involved with Shep Smith in any way.
Fox Business production assistant John Fawcett filed the suit. The 27-year-old alleges that he had a creepy encounter with the now-former Fox News legal analyst and Trump hater. Judge Napolitano used to have a solid reputation with Fox News’ fan base. This changed when he turned on Trump and never really improved. It has now come down to this.
In Fawcett’s allegation, he claims that in the elevator he was sharing with Napolitano, that the judge stood “awkwardly close” to him and began stroking his arm. He suggested that Fawcett could visit him on his New Jersey horse farm and told him suggestively that his hands get “really dirty”
This is eerily similar to allegations made about former Congressman in Virginia, Republican Denver Riggleman, who reportedly talked about “horse fisting” on a radio show. Perhaps Riggleman knows the judge? We can only speculate, to be clear.
Fawcett’s lawsuit also goes after Fox News. It alleges that top people at the news channel did nothing about these allegations when reported. The Hill reported in part:
“Upon first learning of John Fawcett’s allegations against Judge Andrew Napolitano, FOX News Media immediately investigated the claims and addressed the matter with both parties,” Fox said in a statement Monday. “The network and Judge Napolitano have since parted ways.”
“Fox News takes all allegations of misconduct seriously,” the company said, adding that it is “committed to providing a safe, transparent, and collaborative workplace environment for all our employees and took immediate, appropriate action” in Napolitano’s case.
Last fall, Napolitano was accused of sexual misconduct by a South Carolina resident, Charles Corbishley, who alleged the judge forced him to perform oral sex on him in Hackensack, N.J., in the late 1980s.
Time will tell what, if any, more bad news will come out about the judge. Many will say this is yet another Trump hater to fall to the “Trump Curse”.
