Kid Rock, never one to be shy with words, recently performed in front of a massive crowd at the Sturgis bike rally. This was the rally that Dr. Fauci was shaking his finger about people going to.
Fauci of course had nothing negative to say about former President Barack Obama’s 60th birthday bash the other day with hundreds of unmasked people.
Of course, Obama did disinvite U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi so there’s that. Anyway, Kid Rock, most likely on the right-leaning spectrum of politics, spoke his mind in a Facebook post, with a message for all the haters.
“People have asked me many times during this pandemic if I missed the road and performing. Somedays I did, somedays I did not. Once I hit the stage last night to a packed house in Sturgis, there is no question I did. But what I missed most of all was YOU, the fans. I hope everyone had a great time, I felt the love, and thank you for that. There is nothing the mainstream media or internet and social media trolls can do but look at this pic and weep, knowing they will never beat us. Fuck them, love to you all. -Kid Rock”
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Kid Rock and live concerts, as the Delta variant threatens the way of life for United States citizens yet again. Dr. Fauci has said there won’t likely be more lockdowns. We know he changes his mind quicker than a baby needs his or her diaper changed though.
Recently Joe Biden said more restrictions may be coming as well. So we don’t actually know what’s in the future for Covid-19 lockdowns and new rules.
Kid Rock is a staunch Trump supporter and has played at rallies for Donald Trump’s campaign and Donald Trump Jr. The Hill reported previously in part:
Kid Rock hosted an outdoor rally for the Trump campaign in Michigan on Monday night with Donald Trump Jr. and 2020 Trump senior adviser Kimberly Guilfoyle.
The rocker, a supporter of Trump who memorably visited the Oval Office with fellow rocker Ted Nugent and former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Paulin, declared during the event in Harrison Township that the “fake media will say it didn’t happen.”
“You should probably hit record on your phone right now, because goddamn fake media will say it didn’t happen,” Kid Rock yelled to the crowd to open the rally.
The Detroit Free Press reported that “most in the crowd, which was largely gathered in a parking lot by the riverside, were maskless, with face coverings predominantly worn by some older attendees.”
The 49-year-old, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, endorsed the former real estate mogul and reality TV star in 2016. After taking office, Kid Rock has dined at the White House and has also golfed with the president.
Some schools are mandating masks again. Others are not, making them optional. Meanwhile, one thing is for sure, people like Kid Rock, as long as they’re not banned from social media, will continue to speak out.
