President Trump Slams NYT After Potential Bias Revealed

Following an article on Monday by the Daily Beast, it took a few days for folks to realize the implications of what was contained within that article.  The end result now is that it is clear that there are some problems going on at the New York Times, and much of the media in general, are having a tough time grappling with their coverage of the president.

The tweet by investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson that was shared within the original Trump tweet talks about how The New York Times is mapping out their narratives as they relate to race and how they can benefit from shaping articles in a racial manner. The tweet by Attkisson was a retweet of another tweet by Fox News contributor Sara Carter, who talked about how news agencies like the NYT do this for monetary gain as they believe they can stay in business by catering to one political ideology.

Carter had retweeted Washington Examiner chief correspondent Byron York who took the NYT to task, saying that the “top editor says it … built its newsroom around one story, Trump-Russia” and that “after the Mueller report” the “new focus” is “Trump racism.”

It’s no wonder The New York Times, or as President Trump refers to it as, “The failing New York Times, is not his favorite publication.

President Trump posted this to his official Donald J. Trump Facebook page today:

“The Failing New York Times, in one of the most devastating portrayals of bad journalism in history, got caught by a leaker that they are shifting from their Phony Russian Collusion Narrative (the Mueller Report & his testimony were a total disaster), to a Racism Witch Hunt. ”Journalism” has reached a new low in the history of our Country. It is nothing more than an evil propaganda machine for the Democrat Party. The reporting is so false, biased and evil that it has now become a very sick joke…But the public is aware!”
