We have seen estimates go from 30,000 to 100,000, to possibly half a million or more refugees from Afghanistan now may be coming to the United States. This comes after the bungled debacle by Joe Biden where all U.S. troops were removed, and then many were sent back to “rescue” Americans.
Despite this mission, Americans were not even given priority status on military jets out of Afghanistan as the nation-state collapsed at the hands of the Taliban. Now the U.S. Government wants to punish Americans who never wanted us at war, to begin with by sending tons of refugees to cities and states around the nation.
This is in the middle of a record-breaking illegal immigration surge at the U.S. southern border. Regardless of why you may not want this many foreigners coming to the U.S. in such a short period of time, the fact is that the nation can’t properly absorb, assimilate and properly place that many.
Even some Republican governors like Georgia’s Brian Kemp and Utah’s Spencer Cox stand ready to take as many refugees as possible. But U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA) says not so fast. She tweeted:
“GA shouldn’t welcome Afghan refugees while 1,000’s of Americans are stranded. Vet them outside the US, just like Remain in Mexico. Will this bring chain migration too? How much will it cost GA taxpayers in Gov assistance? The future of GA shouldn’t be like MN that voted for Omar.”

Apparently, a radio host got himself into some hot water with the U.S. Rep Ilhan Omar (D-MN) for making similar comments, but maybe a little more offensive:

Only time will tell just how many refugees the United States gets. A conflicting report shows Joe Biden is hesitant to take too many, although this is hard for us to believe:
“Two U.S. officials told Reuters that Biden was concerned about the political impact of large number of Afghan refugees flowing into the United States and preferred they be sent to third countries.”
