Kyle Rittenhouse took the stand today in his trial and he broke down in tears on the stand while describing the events that occurred in Kenosha, Wisconsin on August 25, 2020.
Rittenhouse was testifying in his own defense after he has pleaded not guilty to six charges, including first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree reckless homicide, and first-degree attempted intentional homicide.
The judge decided to call a recess at that point in order for him to compose himself and the trial has now resumed.
Benny Johnson shared a clip in a tweet and said, “Kyle Rittenhouse breaks down in tears on the stand as he recounts being cornered by Ziminski and Rosenbaum. Wow.”
U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) quote tweeted Johnson and declared, “Thank God Kyle Rittenhouse had a gun to defend himself. I will always defend our 2A rights.”

Previously, we reported:
Over the last few days, a video was circulating of a man claiming to be George Floydâs relative. He says he knows people filming juries and that âwe know whatâs going onâ and âwe need the same resultsâ. The original video came down but it made its way around the internet (second tweet down).
This may have prompted an investigation. Now, deputies reportedly caught people filming the jurors at a bus stop. The report on Twitter by a Town Hall reporter is shocking, claiming that there were no arrests and they were simply told to stop and âmade to delete recordingsâ
âJudge Schroeder reveals someone filmed the Kyle Rittenhouse jurors when they were picked up by the bus this morning. Schroeder said deputies made the person delete the video and added more steps will be taken to prevent something like that from happening again.â
