In what can only be described as a bizarre repetition, Kamala Harris described the “significance” of/to the “passage of time” four times in less than 30 seconds during a speech today.
In a tweet, Harris discussed why she was in Louisiana giving the speech and said, “So much of our world has moved online and high-speed broadband internet is a necessity.”
“This morning I’m heading to Sunset, Louisiana to meet with people who are going to benefit from our Administration’s investments which will deliver broadband to all communities,” Harris added.
Harris explained, “The governor and I and we were all doing a tour of the library here and talking about the significance of the passage of time, right? The significance of the passage of time.”
“So when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time in terms of what we need to do to lay these wires, what we need to do to create these jobs and there is such great significance to the passage of time when you think of a day in the life of our children,” Harris concluded.
Twitter user Jason Dalen perhaps best summed it up in a reply where he suggested, “That was a passage of time I’ll never get back.”

Libs of Tik Tok mocked Harris for the situation and said in a tweet, “Inspiring words from our Vice President.”
The tweet also included a picture of Harris alongside her words.

It was reported that Harris toured a community library in Sunset, La., a small town about 65 miles west of Baton Rouge, and met with residents of St. Landry Parish to discuss the importance of high-speed Internet.
Harris was joined by Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards (D), Deputy Secretary of Commerce Don Graves, senior White House adviser Cedric Richmond, who was a former Louisiana Dem Congressman and current U.S. House Rep Troy Carter (D-LA).
