Whoopi Goldberg Boots Climate Protesters from ‘The View’ During Appearance by Ted Cruz After Chaos Erupts in the Studio

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg booted a group of climate protesters from ABC’s “The View” during an appearance by U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) after chaos erupted in the New York studio.

The Hill reported that Cruz was answering a question about the economic hardships facing Americans when a group of people in the studio began to chant, “Vote for climate now!”

Cruz laughed at the protesters and then continued, “Inflation in the United States has one cause and one cause only and that is when the federal Government spends too much money.”

“We have seen trillions and trillions of dollars spent by Joe Biden and the Democrats. Just last year, we took in four trillion dollars in tax revenues, the most money in history and we spent nearly seven trillion,” Cruz continued before the ladies on the show had enough.

One shouted at the protesters, “We do cover climate!” before Goldberg turned and told them, “Excuse me, let us do our jobs. We hear what you have to say, but you have to go.”

Cruz then referenced an incident that occurred in Europe over the weekend and quipped, “I’m glad we don’t have a Van Gogh on the wall.”

The protesters continued to shout and the show went to a commercial break, according to The Hill, and when it returned from the break, co-host Ana Navarro apologized to Cruz.

Navarro told Cruz, “I’ve been very vocal and very critical of you, but I am sorry that this has happened in our house.”

The interview was interrupted by radical liberal extremist hecklers.
After letting it go on for a while, Whoopi steps in and shouts down the hecklers after they apparently claim The View doesn't talk about climate change.

Things got testy between the co-hosts and their guest during another part of the segment as they discussed the 2020 election.

“Cruz: ‘[Hillary Clinton and Stacey Abrams] sat here and said [their elections] were illegitimate and you guys were fine with it.'”

“Whoopi: ‘And it was!'”

“Cruz: ‘So it’s illegitimate when Republicans win but not Democrats?'”

Digital strategist Greg Price explained, “After reading off a list of Democrats calling elections illegitimate, all Ana Navarro can do is beg Ted Cruz to lower his voice lmfao.”

That wasn’t all the chaos from the crowd, in another clip shared by Price, at another point in the interview, “According to @SteveGuest, the part here that is bleeped out was somebody in the audience at The View yelling ‘F*ck you, Ted Cruz’ after which they were forced to go to commercial.”
