Legendary Country Star and Patriot Toby Keith Tragically Passes Away After Stomach Cancer Battle

Country singer Toby Keith passed away Monday evening surrounded by family. Keith had been battling stomach cancer since 2021. News of his passing was shared on social media. A post on X reads:

“Toby Keith passed peacefully last night on February 5th. surrounded by his family. He fought his fight with grace and courage. Please respect the privacy of his family at this time.”

Keith played three sold-out shows at the end of 2023. He had shared in interviews he was feeling optimistic about his treatments and was happy to be playing concerts to his fans, so this news of his passing comes as a bit of a surprise to those who have been following his journey.
