Local reports published Sunday night suggest that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) is set to drop out of the 2026 Minnesota Governor’s race on Monday morning.
According to political analyst Blois Olsen, a press conference is setup for 11 a.m. where Walz is set to address his political future.
It would be quite the fall from grace as Walz was the running mate for Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.
Walz took office in 2019 and was expected to be challenged by Mike Lindell, who is anticipated to be the GOP nominee.
YouTuber Nick Shirley recently did an investigation on Somali owned daycare centers in the state where he alleged that fraud was taking place.
U.S. House Rep James Comer (R-TN) told Fox News on Sunday morning that Walz refusing to show up a in Minnesota fraud hearing would be an “admission of guilt.”
A recent headline from the Washington Post announced, “Tim Walz was a Democratic hopeful. Now, he’s a Republican punching bag.”
This is a developing story, stay tuned for more updates.
