While Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers took many hits over the weekend, despite not being able to play, U.S. House Rep Jim Jordan (R-OH) came to his defense today.
In a viral tweet, Jordan announced, “Aaron Rodgers is right.”

Rodgers is now suffering blowback from his decision to remain unvaccinated in the form of lost endorsements.
CNN reported that over the weekend, Wisconsin-based Prevea Health ended its nearly 10 year partnership with Rodgers.
“Prevea Health remains deeply committed to protecting its patients, staff, providers and communities amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes encouraging and helping all eligible populations to become vaccinated against COVID-19 to prevent the virus from further significantly impacting lives and livelihoods,” the company wrote in a statement.
Not only that, but State Farm appears to have scaled back ads featuring Rodgers… in favor of ads featuring Terry Bradshaw.
It seems that Bradshaw has a financial stake in his criticism of Rodgers, where he claimed that Rodgers lied when he said that he was immunized against COVID-19.
If there is one positive for Rodgers, it’s that his temporary replacement on the field, Jordan Love, struggled badly in a 13-7 loss.
ESPN analyst Skip Bayless said of his performance, “I wouldn’t wish that KC crowd on any QB in his first start. But so far Jordan Love hasn’t displayed even a hint of ‘It.’ Seems overwhelmed. Somewhere, the Packers “immunized” QB is chuckling. Advantage, Rodgers.”
