The latest frontman for “Queen” and LGBT popstar Adam Lambert is speaking out with rage after news of someone other than him playing the role of George Michael.
A $104 million biopic is reportedly being planned with Theo James as the actor for Michael. Lambert is furious because James is not LGBT like he is according to reports. Daily Mail reported that Lambert commented on Instagram
Daily Mail also reported in part:
In March 2020, Lambert, who is gay, told Metro that he would like to play Michael – who died in 2016 aged 53 – should a biopic be made.
Many politically correct celebrities may stand with Lambert, but others, and by others, we mean regular non-famous Americans may ask why are there so many rules. Lately, we’ve heard that minorities or non-Whites should not play the roles of “bad guys” anymore, even if the actor or actress wants the role.
We’ve heard how people who are in the LGBT need to be representing other LGBT people in movies and TV shows. But if the roles were reversed, would it be called bigoted?
If a White American was played by a non-White American or if a straight person was played by an LGBT actor, would that be an issue? Probably not for the woke and most celebs.
This disconnect is causing discomfort with rank-and-file Americans in our view, who respect everyone but don’t think scales should be tipped in either direction, even at the behest of the woke mind virus as Elon Musk would say.
We will see what happens with the “biopic” and how things eventually play out as more Twitter icons and celebs around Hollywood and social media get their say…
