Country star John Rich’s anti-woke song “Progress” reached #1 on iTunes after he promoted the song on Truth social.
Rich, who supported Donald Trump for president in 2020, described the new song as his “message to the tyrants running our country into the ground” in a Truth Social post yesterday.
“Stick your ‘progress’ where the sun don’t shine!” Rich declared defiantly.
In the post, Rich urged “patriots” to “give it a listen, hit the download button, and share this #Truth with all of your followers.”
Rich initially shared that the song had gone #1 on the country charts before announcing that it had gone #1 on all genres.
Country legend Travis Tritt gave his “buddy” Rich a shout-out on Truth Social as well as he called it a “great new single” and touted that it was #1 on iTunes.
In the music video for “Progress,” Rich can be seen driving a Pontiac Thunderbird and playing guitar in rural America.
As the song progresses, Rich presents a montage of the country’s so-called “progress” under the influence of the left, including empty grocery store shelves, skyrocketing energy prices, baby formula shortages, rioting in the streets, and widespread urban breakdown.
The video concludes with shots of Americans of various ethnicities and religions celebrating their patriotism and love of their country, as Breitbart noted.
