Fox and Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt gave a loving tribute to her mother this morning. Earhardt announced her mother, Dale 72, had passed away this past Saturday morning.
Earhardt mentioned her mother had a stroke five years ago and her father called the children last week to let them know they had better come to see her as her health was in decline.
Earhardt’s tribute included many pictures of her mother with her family. Earhardt called her mother the “epitome of a southern woman”. Her mother loved to cook, Steve Ducey included a recipe from her in his new cookbook.
Her mother would visit her in New York, Earhardt shared a photo of them outside The Plaza. Dale was also a teacher for 33 years. Earhardt shared that her mother was proud of all of her children.
Her sister followed in her mother’s footsteps becoming a teacher in Charleston, SC.
She then explained how she broke the news to her children about their grandmother’s passing.
Her mother had declined in health over the past five years and they had hired a nurse to help her father take care of her mother before her passing.
The family will have a hole with the passing of her mother, she was proud of her mother and loved her very much.
