A socialist club at Arizona State University is pushing back against Kyle Rittenhouse’s future enrollment at the university.
The club is called the “Students for Socialism” and describes itself as a socialist, revolutionary Marxist club with a mission to end capitalism and fight for socialism.
Tomorrow, the club plans to hold a rally against Rittenhouse being “permitted” on campus, which the university has indicated would be allowed.
In a statement, the club described Rittenhouse as a “White supremacist killer” and compared his self-defense killings with the 1979 “Greensboro Massacre,” where five communists and their supporters were killed by KKK members during dueling protests.
Here’s our extended statement regarding Kyle Rittenhouse on campus, including our revised demands.

It was reported yesterday that Rittenhouse isn’t currently enrolled in any classes at the university, having withdrawn to focus on the trial.
Even still, the socialists explained in a tweet, “People seem to think that because Rittenhouse dropped his online classes that he won’t be attending ASU.”
“He states in his News Nation interview that he plans to re-enroll for the next semester – we won’t let him!” the club insisted.

A change.org petition that calls for Rittenhouse to be barred from the school has over 11,000 signatures so far, although anybody can sign, so that doesn’t necessarily mean ASU students.
There has been great speculation that Rittenhouse has filed lawsuits against various people and news organizations, but as of yet, he has not done so.
Rittenhouse’s spokesperson told the Associated Press that he has not filed a lawsuit against any individual or organization.
