Atheist liberals just love telling Christian conservatives, what they might do if they were Christian, but of course, they’re not. But if you’re a Christian, you better listen to what they have to say of course.
This morning the controversial comedian Patton Oswalt took to Twitter to chastise Christians for supporting President Trump by retweeting a video where two interviewers try to bait President Trump in an on the spot interview to see what Bible verses he could quote. President Trump says the Bible is something that is very special to him but on quoting a verse he says “I wouldn’t want to get into it because to me that’s something very personal”. Oswalt tweeted:
“Dear Christians who support Trump: please watch this. He is 100% conning you and does not believe what you believe. LISTEN to what he says here. HOW is this your guy?”

Patton speaks on his atheism in an interview to avclub.com:
PO: Goddamn, that’s so weird. Again, I was very much an atheist, but I was never like the Richard Dawkins [type], getting in people’s faces about it. Maybe ’cause I write so much, and ’cause I’m so steeped in horror and science fiction and comic books, I can see the origins of how they made up every religion. I know where it came from; the human heart wanted that stuff. I’m not saying that I’m smarter. In a way, it’s because I’m not as intelligent that I can see where that stuff comes from. But at the same time, her cat died, and she was hysterical and was crying. And I totally was like, “Well, she’s in kitty heaven.” I just totally agreed with “kitty heaven” right there. You can’t tell someone who’s despondent about something that they loved and that loved them unconditionally, “Well, there’s nothing after this. They’re just gone.”
Patton Oswalt is probably the last man on earth who should be preaching to someone about morality as he has had his own controversies that may overshadow that of even “The Donald’s”. A series of deleted Tweets can be seen in twitchy.com article from Mr. Oswalt where some think he might have temporarily ‘lost it’.
In his deleted twitter rant, he made disgusting jokes about Holocaust victims, rapes, and much more. He even has a tweet that is still up that jokes in a very unsavory way about pedophilia, along with some alarming ones from other left-wing comedians as well.

All this, of course, is not to randomly bash a Hollywood actor and comedian but to highlight the hypocrisy of this man telling Christians what to do. This especially considering Christians believe that God uses imperfect men as vessels such as King David from the old testament of the Bible.
Southern Baptist Pastor Robert Jeffress often likes to talk about how President Trump indeed isn’t perfect, but that an imperfect man can be right or even perfect for a particular job. Dr. and Pastor of First Dallas Baptist Church Robert Jeffress spoke to Ed Henry in a Fox News video about the topic. He starts off by saying in response to an allegation that “nobody has sold his soul to support President Trump”. He made the case that although Jimmy Carter was much cleaner on his personal life, Ronald Reagan was a much better choice based on policies, which is what matters most in a President for the American people.
Jeffress went on to say:
“We’re not under any illusion that we were voting for an altar boy when we voted for President Trump. We knew about his past, and by the way, none of us has a perfect past. We voted for him because of his policies.”
