Monica Crowley is amplifying the message that Robert F. Kennedy has posted to X.com. Although we don’t know the exact threshold for a candidate to get Secret Service protection, this does seem bizarre to us, especially considering what happened to John F. Kennedy tragically.
RFK Jr. tweeted:
Since the assassination of my father in 1968, candidates for president are provided Secret Service protection. But not me.
“Typical turnaround time for pro forma protection requests from presidential candidates is 14-days. After 88-days of no response and after several follow-ups by our campaign, the Biden Administration just denied our request. Secretary Mayorkas: “I have determined that Secret Service protection for Robert F Kennedy Jr is not warranted at this time.”
Our campaign’s request included a 67-page report from the world’s leading protection firm, detailing unique and well established security and safety risks aside from commonplace death threats.”
Crowley seemed shocked at this development:
“Biden is denying a presidential candidate named KENNEDY Secret Service protection”
Leo Terrell chimed in:
“Outrageous!”
RFK Jr. has been deemed a threat by the radical elite Democrat left. Many think he’s “antisemitic” and “antivax” even though he has denied the allegations and said statements of his have been taken out of context.
Many Democrat voters do like Kennedy, and so do many Republicans. This could mean trouble if his popularity rises too fast.
He’s running for president as a Democrat but many want him to be Trump’s VP. Time will tell how this situation develops, and we hope and pray for Kennedy’s safety meanwhile.
