According to CNN earlier this morning, Bill Barr’s DOJ is vetting information from former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani about Hunter Biden and former Vice President and candidate for president Joe Biden. This is according to Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) who reported that Attorney General William (Bill) Barr has “created a process that Rudy Giuliani could give information and they would see if it’s verified.” It’s hard to believe that Senator Graham would take something seriously if he did not think it had credibility.
Despite Graham appearing to be a huge fan of President Trump lately, he hasn’t been shy to talk out of both sides of his mouth in the past. Breaking911 posted the clip of Bill Barr’s short statement on Twitter, saying that they need to be very careful vetting any foreign information, which lends credence to the fact that he is indeed working with Rudy, albeit with apprehension and caution.
When Bill Barr was asked by a reporter about the situation and if he should recuse himself: “As I’ve previously said, the DOJ has the obligation to have an open door to anybody who wishes to provide us information that they think is relevant. But I did say to Senator Graham, we have to be very careful with respect to any information coming from Ukraine.” He went on to say that an intake process has been established in the field so that any intel coming in can be scrutinized by the department. CNN also reported what appears to be an opinion statement, although spoken as fact, “The President has repeatedly made unfounded and false claims to allege that the Bidens acted improperly in Ukraine. There is no evidence of wrongdoing by either Joe or Hunter Biden.” Some may say these claims are not unfounded or false, but we are merely reporting the information here at Media Right News and nothing is for sure until the Justice Department gets to the bottom of things.
Rudy Giuliani faced much scrutiny from Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and the other Democrats during the failed impeachment process, where they said that as President Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy was too involved in foreign policy, specifically to do with Ukraine.
Rudy seems to have kept himself out of trouble so far though, despite his former friend Lev Parnas getting arrested for this unrelated to President Trump and hopefully Rudy for his sake. Rudy has been touring any news outlets that will have him to tout the information he claims to have on the Bidens related to alleged Ukraine improprieties they were involved with.
