Business magnate Bill Gates weighed in today on the latest Executive Order reported to be signed by President Joe Biden, applauding the so-called climate initiative.
Biden set new goals for the government to cut its carbon dioxide emissions by 65 percent by the end of this decade and to have net-zero federal emissions by 2050.
Gates applauded the move in a tweet where he declared, “This order signed by President Biden signals a strong commitment to deploying the solutions we need to get to net-zero and avoid a climate disaster.”

Founder & Executive Director of energy worker advocacy group Power the Future Daniel Turner pushed back on executive order.
“It’s never going to happen. Green energy promises are all lies. Always,” Turner declared while offering an example of how long it’s going to take to pave a portion fo the GW Parkway.

For perspective: the GW Parkway got $160 million to pave 15 miles and it won’t be done until 2025.
It’s never going to happen. Green energy promises are all lies. Always.
As NBC News reported, the order puts the U.S. in line with global targets to reach net-zero carbon emissions by the middle of the century, which scientists say is needed to reduce the effects of climate change.
Biden announced the order in a tweet yesterday where he said, “Today, I signed an executive order directing the federal government to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.”
Republican GOP congressional candidate Lavern Spicer responded, “So more bullsh*t? Okay BRANDON.”
