President Trump said yesterday that he disagrees with the CDC “on their very tough & expensive guidelines for opening schools.” Former CIA Director John Brennan responded by saying that Trump “puts countless lives at risk” and that he is “motivated solely by his personal political agenda, not America’s best interests.”
Trump: I disagree with @CDCgov on their very tough & expensive guidelines for opening schools. While they want them open, they are asking schools to do very impractical things. I will be meeting with them!!!
Brennan: President Trump is our nation’s premier ultracrepidarian. He puts countless lives at risk with musings motivated solely by his personal political agenda, not America’s best interests. I do not know how anyone believes what he says. Vote him & his enablers out of office.

Yesterday on MSNBC, Brennan appeared and spoke to Lawrence O’Donnell who asked if he saw something similar to “other regimes” with the “propaganda style” of the Trump White House.
Brennan said that he has “seen and observed this behavior in other authoritarian leaders around the world.” He believed it is “taken right out of the authoritarian’s playbook.” He claimed there is a “track record.” Previously he had referenced “the despot’s playbook.”
President Trump appeared yesterday with First Lady Melania Trump and Vice President Mike Pence to discuss the re-opening of schools. He said that new treatments are being used and that the death rate overall from the virus is down.
