Earlier today Pete Buttigieg, the failed Democrat presidential candidate posted a photo op with his husband Chasten. It appears the homosexual couple has adopted two children, who appear to be a boy and a girl.
While this is totally legal, many may question if it’s the best thing for kids to have “two Dads” although many more would say that it’s totally fine. Beyond that, others have other questions.
For example, the Conservative leader of ACT for America Brigitte Gabriel wants to know why they needed a hospital bed to lay down on for apparent theatrical purposes.
This is because, although Democrats do believe men can have babies in some instances, these two particular men did not have these babies themselves, and therefore probably did not need a hospital bed.
Under normal circumstances, many conservatives may just have rolled their eyes and kept scrolling, but we are being told in the news all over the nation that hospitals are running out of beds due to Covid-19. The CDC has even asked unvaccinated people to not travel during the holidays.
Therefore, one may question if a photo with an unneeded hospital bed during a time when many may face waiting for a hospital bed is a very optical idea. It is really left to the reader, you, to decide what you think of the whole situation.
Buttigieg originally tweeted the photo with the caption:
“Chasten and I are beyond thankful for all the kind wishes since first sharing the news that we’re becoming parents. We are delighted to welcome Penelope Rose and Joseph August Buttigieg to our family.” to which Gabriel quote tweeted:
“Hospitals are short on beds because of COVID, and Pete Buttigieg is taking a photo op in a hospital bed.”

At the end of the day the only expression we can think of to summarize this whole thing is “it is what it is”, and as the famous also failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is famous for once saying, “sigh”.
