The Great American Family Network recently announced in a press release that it has become the “fastest growing network in all of cable television.”
The chief creative officer, Candace Cameron Bure, celebrated the news in an Instagram story where she thanked fans for tuning in.
In the Instagram story, Bure wrote over the press release, “Thank you for finding us and watching Great American Family Channel.”
The Great American Family Network, which bills itself as “America’s premiere TV destination for family-friendly programming, original holiday movies, rom-coms & fan-favorite series celebrating faith, family & country,” shared the press release in a tweet.
“Great news for Great American Media’s #GreatAmericanFamily to end 2022 & an even better way to start 2023,” the tweet announced.
“Happy New Year to everyone who helped make this happen, from people on-camera & off, but especially our viewers!” the network added
According to the press release, the channel came in No. 1 in “primetime ratings growth in households (+128%) among all cable networks.”
The press release was allegedly based on figures from Nielsen, which ranked the channel No. 1 “in total day ratings growth in households (+113%),” ages 18-49 (+100%), and total viewership (+116%).
Bure has been promoting the channel on her Instagram and starred in a Christmas movie that was released at the end of November, “Reindeer in Here.”
