Politico released an article earlier where they quoted users on a Chinese social media site. The title was, “‘Not the World’s Number One’: Chinese Social Media Piles On the U.S.” In their share to Twitter, they went a step further, saying “Trump is getting roasted on Chinese Twitter for his virus response.”

This didn’t sit well with FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr and he used his platform on Twitter to hit back at the celebration. He said that he doesn’t “mean to disrupt” their “Communist propaganda with facts.”
He then gave a list of issues he took with their article including the fact that there is “no Chinese Twitter” that China “disappears people.”
He also provided “a thread on Communist China’s actual actions and it’s responsibility for the spread of COVID.”
