In light of recent fact checks on President Donald Trump, including a couple regarding mail-in voting on Twitter, and a Politifact fact check on Donald Trump’s claims about MSNBC host Joe Scarborough’s alleged involvement with a cold case murder that he wants to be investigated, a congressional candidate is asking that Twitter check both sides for facts alike.
He used a very eye-opening example that is probably in hopes to get the Twitter tattle tale’s attention. He asked if Twitter would fact check whether or not Stacey Abrams, former candidate for Georgia governor, is actually a runway model.
This is probably in reference to a Washington Post piece fluffing Abrams, probably to help her chances of getting picked by presidential candidate Joe Biden as a VP running mate. Errol Webber tweeted: “Can Twitter please fact-check Stacey Abrams being a runway model?” See below:

Here is Politifact’s recent fact check on President Trump regarding the MSNBC host and claims made about him by the president:
Donald Trump revived a murder conspiracy theory to attack MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough. No official body has sought a new investigation. No evidence suggests they should. https://t.co/eQr2po973j

What do you think, do social media giants and fact-checkers check both sides fairly and accurately, or do they take sides? Is Stacey Abrams truly a runway model? Ultimately it’s up to the consumer to push back hard enough if they don’t believe that thing are fair.
