U.S. House Rep Cori Bush (D-MO) released a video on Friday announcing her re-election campaign in 2022.
Today, it appears that Bush is attempting to get some attention for her race after she weighed in on the Kyle Rittenhouse murder trial.
Bush tweeted, “When we marched in Ferguson, white supremacists would hide behind a hill near where Michael Brown Jr. was murdered and shoot at us.”
“They never faced consequences. If Kyle Rittenhouse gets acquitted, it tells them that even 7 years later they still can get away with it,” Bush explained.
Many were quick to call out the freshman Congresswoman, questioning the validity of her claim as there are no news articles to back it up.
Siraj Hashmi, incinuated that he planned to add Bush to “The List” and said, “I’ll take ‘things that didn’t happen’ for $6969.”

GOP Congressional candidate in Pennsylvania, Teddy Daniels, quote tweeted Bush and said, “Never happened @CoriBush . You are a lying racist. You weren’t marching either. You were burning and looting your own communities… scumbag.”
