Country legend Travis Tritt didn’t hold back following the FBI raid of the 45th President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
Tritt offered his support for Trump in a post on Truth Social and said that the criminal justice system has been “politically weaponized.”
In the post, Tritt declared that “The FBI raiding the home of @realDonaldTrump is a bridge too far.”
“Our entire criminal justice system has been politically weaponized and we must put a stop to it,” Tritt explained.
Tritt then requested that his followers “Vote against every single Democrat and RINO at every level of government in November.”
According to the reports, Trump was meeting late yesterday at his Bedminster, New Jersey Club with members of the Republican Study Committee.
U.S. Congressman Jim Banks (R-IN) heads that group and said that it is committed to putting forth Trump’s priorities in Congress.
Tritt made it clear that he does not want voters to vote in November just because a candidate has an “R” next to his name.
The Associated Press pointed out that Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell was “notably quiet on the raid.”
McConnell declined to react when asked about it during a stop in his home state of Kentucky, which is reeling from devastating storms, and simply said, “I’m here today to talk about the flood and recovery from the flood.”
