Anti-gun David Hogg decided to try to help all the other companies and people trying to cancel Mike Lindell and his company MyPillow. But that isn’t working out so well based on the initial reports we have been seeing. Back in February, and among many other tweets Hogg fired off at the mouth by saying:
“@williamlegate and I are going to prove that progressives can make a better pillow, run a better business and help make the world a better place while doing it. We will have the name announced soon but we need to get through the legal process of trademarking as so on”. See tweet:

PJ Media has “circled back” as Jen Psaki likes to say, reporting recently:
Well, so much for that. Good Pillow’s website (featuring their $200 2-hour logo) doesn’t appear to have been changed in a long time, and Good Pillow’s Twitter account hasn’t posted a tweet in over a month. Its last tweet, posted February 10, reported that the company is “trying to finalize the list of charity partners will [sic] be launching with” and asked followers to list any organizations they should support.
Since then, silence.
Meanwhile, Mike Lindell is still chugging along, despite being banned by Twitter. He is still on Facebook, and selling lots of pillows and other items on his website directly even though many other companies have canceled him. Although Lindell has made his mistakes, he believes in Jesus, and if we had to speculate, we think that is why he’ll probably continue to enjoy a strong support base.
Many claim Lindell lost fans because he supported Trump. Twitter says he was banned for his opinions on the election being incorrect. one thing is for sure, cancel culture surely has accelerated and Conservatives are taking the brunt of the situation these days.
Recently, Texas Governor Greg Abbott said he would make it harder for big tech to ban Conservatives in Texas. Then, shortly afterward, he decided to disavow the free speech network Gab and call them anti-semitic. Interesting situation coming from someone who claims to be for free speech and a Conservative. Will Republican voters with short memory spans remember this one or will Abbott’s flub be just another blip on the radar? Time will tell.
Meanwhile we will await to see what happens with Hogg’s Good Pillow, but based on the news we think that’s one cancellation that might just be sticking. The most recent thing on Hogg’s own Twitter reads:
“Today, March For Our Lives Co-Founder David Hogg decided that he will take a leave of absence from his position as a Board Member to take some time for himself to reflect and recommit to the mission.”

We previously reported about Hogg’s initial Pillow company launch plan in part:
Gun control activist David Hogg recently announced that plans are in the works for him to launch a company that makes pillows to compete with Mike Lindell and MyPillow.
In a tweet yesterday, Hogg said that Lindell “is going to have some progressive competition soon.”
Hogg then listed ways that he intends to separate his company from Lindell’s and said, “Only this time it will be: Union made in America, have an emphasis on supporting progressive causes, not attempt a white supremacist overthrow of the United States government, so you can sleep at night.”
In tweets today, Hogg further outlined his plans. “Our goal is to sell $1 million of product within our first year Mike isn’t going to know what hit him- this pillow fight is just getting started.”
Hogg said that he was going to partner with fellow political activist William LeGate and that they “are going to prove that progressives can make a better pillow, run a better business and help make the world a better place while doing it.”
“We will have the name announced soon but we need to get through the legal process of trademarking as so on,” Hogg added.
According to Axios, Lindell has responded to the plan and in a text this morning said, “Good for them…. nothing wrong with competition that does not infringe on someone’s patent.”
It seems Mike Lindell’s kind words were a sign that he didn’t need to vile for right and wrong to play out.
