Like the movie Groundhog Day, every day U.S. House Rep Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ) takes to Twitter to remind his constituents and followers about the events that occurred on Jan. 6 at the U.S. Capitol.
At the beginning of the tweet, Pascrell lists how many days ago the event occurred, totaling 213 straight days thus far.
Pascrell then explains that “terrorists ransacked the US Capitol and *hours later* 138-of-202 (68%) House republicans voted to make trump a dictator.”
“They tried to finish the rioters’ job and end democracy. Never forget it,” Pascrell adds.
Pascrell appears to have begun his streak of tweets on April 28th, starting at 112 days after the event up until now, where he is at 325 days.
The tweets regularly garner over 1k likes, with liberals cheering him on and some responding things like “Never forget,” which was also the phrase most associated with 9/11.

On Nov. 17, 2020, in a tweet that Pascrell pinned, he lobbied for “the eventual prosecution” of “trump and his enablers for their many crimes against the United States.”
In a statement that he included in the tweet, Pascrell asserted that in 2021, Trump and his administration “have committed innumerable crimes against the United States” and listed several accusations.
Pascrell demanded that “the entire Trump administration must be fully investigated by the Department of Justice and any other relevant offices.”
