In a speech given today in Los Angeles, California, the birthplace of the Bloods and the Crips gangs, Joe Biden referred to today’s Republican Party as the “MAGA Gang.”
The remarks made by Biden were on “Inflation and actions taken to lower prices and address supply chain challenges.”
Biden’s speech came as the May consumer price index report shows that prices rose 8.6% from a year ago, the highest increase since December 1981.
However, in his speech, Biden pointed out that “May was the strongest month in the Port of Los Angeles’s history, the strongest month in its history.”
After touting various initiatives that Democrats are trying to get passed, Biden said, “We’re doing everything in our power to lower costs to families, but congressional Republicans, led by Senator Rick Scott, have a different approach.”
Biden claimed that Republicans want to eliminate “Medicare, Social Security, Medicaid” and then said:
“And, folks, you know, it’s not right. It’s simply not right. And I disagree. And that’s what — look, this is not your father’s Republican Party; this is a different deal. It really is.”
“I’ve worked with a lot of honorable Republicans — very conservative Republicans — over the years when I was a senator. But this is the MAGA gang. This is the MAGA crowd. I really mean it. They have a fundamentally different view of the role of government and who should pay what. And I’m going to work with anyone — Democrat, Republican, or independent — to deliver real solutions for families.”
TPUSA’s Benny Johnson tweeted a clip of Biden’s speech and noted, “First it was ‘Ultra MAGA’ then it was ‘The Great MAGA King’ now it’s ‘MAGA Gang.'”
“Why does Joe Biden keep giving us cool nicknames?” Johnson wondered.
