Elizabeth Warren Has Message for Supporters After Weak Polls: Hug Your Pet, Eat Chocolate…

Well after the Iowa Caucus, and New Hampshire primary for the Democrat presidential hopefuls, it appears as though Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT) is the frontrunner, albeit with Mayor Pete Buttigieg nipping at his heels. Warren and Biden, once thought by many to be the “top dogs” so run against President Donald Trump by many, and now flailing, and all but on life support so to speak.

Fox News reported in a tweet reposted by Media Right News on Twitter that Senator Warren (D-MA) is offering up advice to supporters and donors who may be down on their luck after Warren’s weak showing in the first two states. Peter Doocy on Fox News was asked by Trace Gallagher what Warren’s so-called checklist put out by her campaign entailed, and he went on to tell the details.

“She gave them a checklist if they are feeling down today and it’s got some unusual suggestions on it. Part of it says, take a walk around the block, eat an extra piece of chocolate, hug your pet, adopt a pet, watch videos of cats and dogs who are friends, call a friend, whatever works…”. See the short clip below:

Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden came in third and fourth respectively in the Iowa Caucus and fourth and fifth in New Hampshire, also respectively. It’s not unusual for a front runner to underperform in Iowa but after these poor numbers in both states, it’s not looking great for the two. National Journal reported in part:

New Hampshire voters Tuesday delivered a crippling blow against the flagging campaigns of Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden, ratified Bernie Sanders as a nominal front-runner, and scrambled the mix of more-moderate contenders looking to take him on. The fight for the Democratic nomination is now a messy muddle, with no clarity in sight as the free-spending Michael Bloomberg enters the picture on Super Tuesday.

Neither Warren nor Biden have hinted at dropping out yet, although Andrew Yang has tapped out in addition to many others. It’s likely though, that after the next two or three states speak at the polls on who they want for their Democratic presidential candidate, it’s only a matter of time. This doesn’t mean Warren and Biden are done yet, just on political life support.
