Elon Musk Responds to Video of Black High School Student Assaulting White Female Teacher After Nintendo Switch was Taken Away: ‘Disturbing’

Matanzas High School in Palm Coast, Florida recently had a brutal beating of a teacher by a student. News reports and videos slowly have been trickling out in the news and on social media. A video going viral on Twitter has caught the attention of Tesla and Twitter CEO Elon Musk.

There have been many viral videos on Twitter lately that have been similar to this one. This video shows a Black male student attacking a White female teacher. It is reported that his Nintendo Switch was taken away.

Reports say the teacher was violently attacked and knocked out. The 17-year-old student was arrested for felony aggravated battery with bodily harm. Various different Twitter accounts have posted this particular video describing the incident.

Many wonder if mainstream media reports about “White Supremacy” has potentially fueled attacks such as this, although it’s hard to know for sure with this particular case. Twitter account “Monitoring Bias” said:

“This is the third video I’ve seen in the last three months of a black high school student striking a white female teacher. I know this is a tired formulation, but: Just imagine the lectures we’d be getting from the NYT op-ed page if the races were reversed in these videos.”

News aggregator Twitter poster Chuck Callesto said:

“JUST IN: 6’6” 270 pound black male student attacks a white teacher at Matanzas High School for taking away his Nintendo Switch during class… Video reveals the unconscious woman being brutally assaulted and struck in the head roughly 15 times.”

Musk chimed in saying simply:

“Disturbing”

Another Twitter user said:

“On Tuesday 2/21/23 a black 6’6” 270 pound student attacked a white teacher at Matanzas High School for taking away his Nintendo Switch during class.  The student is seen kicking and punching the unconscious woman in the back and head around 15 times. When the student was escorted…”

While Musk’s comment was short, many watch his every tweet, and any time he comments on something he brings additional attention and scrutiny to it. We can only hope Americans by and large can stop being violent to one another and that our leaders can come up with viable solutions when we see stories such as this tragic one.
