Musk’s tweets have dominated the news cycle, and this appears to be continuing, as both sides have a lot to say.
In a two-part tweet yesterday, Musk addressed the Democrat meltdown over free speech and his pending purchase of Twitter.
“The extreme antibody reaction from those who fear free speech says it all,” Musk explained.
Musk added a little over an hour later, “By ‘free speech’, I simply mean that which matches the law. I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law.”
“If people want less free speech, they will ask government to pass laws to that effect. Therefore, going beyond the law is contrary to the will of the people,” Musk insisted.

I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law.
If people want less free speech, they will ask government to pass laws to that effect.
Therefore, going beyond the law is contrary to the will of the people.
The day of the purchase by Musk, liberal actor Rob Reiner was one of the most vocal liberals to meltdown on Twitter.
“Now that Elon Musk is buying Twitter, the question for all of us is: Will he allow a Criminal who used this platform to lie and spread disinformation to try to overthrow the US Government to return and continue his Criminal activity? And if he does, how do we combat it?” Reiner asked.
Country star and Trump supporter John Rich responded, “Calm down Rob, I’m sure he’ll let Hillary stay on.”

Reiner made it clear who he was referring to in a tweet yesterday where he asked, “How many tapes have to be made public proving that Republicans knew that Trump was responsible for inciting violence to overthrow the Government for DOJ to Indict this moronic threat to our Democracy?”

Arizona GOP State Sen Wendy Rogers told Musk in a quote tweet, “Elon – this is where we differ. Our rights do not come from law by flawed men.”
“Our rights come from God. I challenge you to read Mere Christianity if you haven’t already. It helps better understand moral law that is already ingrained in every human being,” Rogers urged.
