Tesla and Twitter CEO Elon Musk claims he is making progress with the “bot” problem at Twitter. This comes after he used bots as a reason to either back out of or get Twitter for a cheaper price when he was purchasing it.
Although he may have overpaid for Twitter due to overall drops in the market and especially the tech sector, that reason didn’t get him what he wanted. Ultimately, as you surely know, Musk still bought Twitter but had to sell a lot of Tesla stock at depressed prices to do so.
Some have complained about Twitter since Musk took over.
The ADL even tried to get Twitter canceled almost. Many others say it runs a lot better and that the bot problem has been getting better. The person who runs “Tesla Owners Silicon Valley” on Twitter posted a funny video with a flamethrower, giving Elon Musk some credit for getting rid of bots.
“This is how @elonmusk got rid of the Twitter bots. Never seen a period of time without constant bots like now. Twitter is getting better each day. @SjvTesla“
Musk accepted some credit for bot improvement but appears to stay humble and admits there is constant work to be done as well:
It is very difficult to stop bots & trolls, while not affecting real users. Won’t be perfect either way, but “Twitter is far more resilient to fake accounts than it ever has been.”
