Former Fox News Host Greta Van Susteren Offers to Volunteer to ‘Fairly’ Help Nancy Pelosi with ‘9/11 Style Commission to Investigation Capitol Attack’

On January 6th, 2021, a large Trump rally went south when some bad actors busted into the U.S. Capitol building, and many of the rallygoers followed them in, causing mass chaos and forcing President Trump into a tough spot, which ultimately led to another failed impeachment by the Democrats.

The Democrats basically blamed former President Trump for “incitement of insurrection”. Many have disagreed that Donald Trump ever wanted anything bad to happen that day though. Earlier we reported that an aide of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) claimed Pelosi was the victim of an assassination attempt.

Now Pelosi wants a 9/11 style commission on the Capitol Attacks deployed to find out what happened. Many people who went that day to support President Trump never came near the U.S. Capitol building and condemned what happened that day.

Some of those people have still been visited by the FBI or fired from their jobs simply for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. While we never endorse violent or illegal behavior no matter the party, it’s concerning that peaceful law-abiding Trump supporters may get swept up in this broad net that politicians like Pelosi are casting.

It was even reported by Fox News’ Tucker Carlson that Bank of America tracked the accounts of some Trump supporters who were in Washington D.C. that day. This seems like a scary invasion of privacy in our view. Now, even more shockingly, former Fox News host Greta Van Susteren, who claims she will be “fair” and not biased, is strangely offering to “save tax money” by doing the investigation for Nancy Pelosi. In a wild tweet string she said:

It’s hard to say if Pelosi or any other politician will be handing over the reins of any “Capitol riot” investigation commission to Van Susteren anytime soon. It’s also hard to know whether or not she would be fair and why she is interested in doing this.

Meanwhile, the Democrats are still mostly silent about months of left-wing riots that caused arguably billions in damages over the summer, many of them in conflict with Covid-19 mandates and guidelines. But the same Democrats quickly pointed out that some Trump supporters didn’t have masks on at many of then-President Trump’s campaign rallies during the same time period. Stay tuned for more updates.
