Fox News today marked the seventh consecutive month of “The Five” as the number one cable news show.
According to a press release, the roundtable program has finished first in cable news for the last 10 out of 11 months.
Airing at 5 p.m. daily on weekdays, “The Five” has averaged 3.4 million viewers, 419,000 with the 25-54 demographic and 255,000 in the 18-49 demographic.
Those numbers outpace every show on CNN and MSNBC across the board, according to the release.
Overall, Fox News Channel secured 98 of the top 100 telecasts for the month of October and no doubt “The Five” contributed to that.
Co-hosts Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld also have their own shows at other times on Fox News and those shows also did well.
Watters’ 7 p.m. show, “Jesse Watters Primetime” finished as the third highest-rated cable news program, averaging 2.9 million viewers and 364,000 in the 25-54 demo.
Gutfeld’s late-night show “Gutfeld!” averaged 2,159,000 P2+ and 337,000 A25-54, with its second highest-rated month since launch in viewers.
“Gutfeld!” easily bested every show on CNN and MSNBC with both viewers and A25-54 and also beat out late-night shows on network television.
