GAME CHANGE: Ukranian Jet Reportedly Shot Down Mistakenly by Iran

Multiple outlets are reporting that Iran did, in fact, shoot down the Ukrainian flight that they previously denied responsibility for, killing 176 innocent people. This could be a game-changer for the entire situation with Iran, the U.S., Iraq, and now Ukraine. CBS Evening News reports: “NEW: “CBS News has learned U.S. officials are confident that Iran shot down a Ukrainian jetliner in the hours after the Iranian missile attack on U.S. targets. 176 people were killed, including at least 63 Canadians”. See tweet below:

NY Daily News previously reported on the denial from Iran, where they claimed that accusation of them shooting down this aircraft was ‘psychological warfare’. President Trump spoke earlier today on the possibility that Iran may have accidentally shot down the plane but it will be interesting to see now how he responds to the confirmation that Iran denied the fact that they indeed did shoot down this plane and apparently tried to cover it up. NY Daily News reported earlier before this news on Iran’s denial:

The Iranian military strongly denied blowing a Ukrainian airliner out of the sky after the plane crashed shortly after takeoff Wednesday morning, killing all 176 people aboard just hours after Iran fired ballistic missiles at U.S. airbases in Iraq.

The Boeing 737-800, which was only three years old, had taken off from Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran when it crashed right outside the city, scattering the area with body parts and passengers’ belongings.

Boeing, which is already having issues with the 737 Max scandal, will be relieved to report that there wasn’t an aircraft malfunction. This is especially true considering Iran is withholding or not turning over the black box from the crashed plane. Further details to come on this breaking news.
