South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham has been out-raised for the first time by his Democratic challenger, Jaime Harrison, in a record-breaking quarterly period that sets up a competitive multimillion-dollar campaign leading into the general election.
Harrison’s campaign announced that it collected more than $7.3 million in contributions during the last quarter. Graham’s campaign said it brought in $5.6 million during the same period
Failed Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to brag about it, calling it “excellent news”. She encouraged people to “keep it going” in an effort to “flip the Senate”.
Incredible news: Jamie Harrison has outraised Lindsey Graham in his race to replace Graham in the Senate—the first time Graham has been outraised in his entire career. Let’s keep it going and flip the Senate.

South Carolina House Rep William Timmons pointed out that many of the donors were potentially from California. In a previous filing report, Harrison received the most amount of money from that state, even outraising donors from SC.
If only all those California donors could vote here in South Carolina.

Nikki Haley struck back that Graham “has been busy helping out President Trump” and working with him to “safely open up America.” She encouraged people to get out and thank him by donating.
Interestingly, but not surprising as Lindsey Graham has been busy helping protect South Carolinians and working with Donald Trump to safely open up America. Let’s get out and thank Lindsay by donating to:https://secure.winred.com/team-graham/donate …
We have your back, Lindsay! Retweet & support!

Graham did not hold any fundraising events during President Trump’s impeachment trial. He also suspended fundraising during the last two weeks of March after Trump declared a national state of emergency because of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a statement issued by his campaign Wednesday night.
