Well, it’s no secret that actor Randy Quaid, the brother of Dennis Quaid, is a huge superfan of President Trump’s. Although we don’t know for sure, it’s being speculated by many that perhaps President Trump could be acquitted today in the US Senate from the House impeachment trial over a July 25th phone call the president had with Ukrainian President Zelensky. The fact that moderate Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) has decided to vote no on more Democrat witnesses, adds fuel to the speculation flames.
Quaid is no stranger to taking his pro-Trump, anti-Adam Schiff opinions to social media with videos and tweets. He has been on record as considering running against Rep Adam Schiff (D-CA), slammed him for his participation in the Trump impeachment and alleged associations with the whistleblower, and cheered when Pam Bondi lambasted the Bidens in the Senate trial just a few days ago. Today he took to Twitter to say:
“Happy Acquittal Day, America! January 31, 2020, will go down in history as a banner day for Swamp draining!” See the tweet below:

Of course, we don’t yet know what the final outcome of the Senate impeachment trial will be yet, or what will happen later today. But this isn’t stopping others from taking potentially premature victory laps, such as one user who responded to Quaid, apparently mocking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s “impeached for life” comments. He responded to Quaid with an emoji meme of smiley with Donald Trump hair and said “To you, as well! #AcquittedForLife” See tweet below:

The Democrats, if Trump is acquitted, will say that it was a sham trial and the Republicans are somehow all complicit in the crimes they allege President Trump to be guilty of, despite the fact that the House Impeachment votes didn’t include that of even one Republican either. Likely this is a push to try to dirty up the GOP and Trump ahead of the 2020 presidential election as the DNC struggles to find a charismatic candidate they can all support.
