It was reported today that iconic actress and sex symbol Raquel Welch passed away at 82 years old after a brief illness, according to her manager.
Welch made her screen debut as one of the call girls in the 1964 Russel Rouse film “A House Is Not a Home.”
She then starred in a number of movies after being signed to a contract by Twentieth Century Fox in 1966.
Welch starred in two movies that year, “Fantastic Voyage,” a sci-fi flick, and the prehistoric fantasy, “One Million Years B.C.”
“One Million Years B.C.” established Welch as a sex symbol and she was featured on the movie poster in her fur bikini.
Roger Stone offered a tribute to Welch in a tweet where he said, “I met Rachel Welch some years ago, She was more beautiful and petite than I had imagined. She was also very gracious. May she RIP”

It appears that Welch was admired by both sides of the aisle as “BrooklynDad_Defiant!” offered a tribute in a tweet as well.
“RIP Raquel Welch, who just passed at 82. In addition to an incredible career, I will never forget her beating the crap out of Kramer and Elaine on that episode of Seinfeld. Funny and beautiful,” he said.
