We reported earlier about how Ilhan Omar was upset about the comments that President Trump made at a rally last night in Pennslyvania and she has now taken it a step further with a call for a “revolution” in Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s memory.
She shared a video of Supreme Court justices at Ginsburg’s casket and said, “Ruth Bader Ginsburg once said, ‘Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you.’ She spoke out to inspire, to mobilize, and to make bold, lasting change. It’s up to us to take up her fight. May her memory be a revolution.”

Prior to that, she asked for donations and said, “What Trump’s attacks on AOC and me last night made clear is that the people cheering on his hateful, xenophobic rants are fired up and ready to vote for him — so we need to mobilize to vote not only against him but for the progress our country deserves.”

Omar also appeared on CNN earlier and said, “The president clearly loves to prey on people’s fears. He spreads the disease of hate everywhere he goes and these cult rallies that he’s holding across the country are now being fueled by fear.”
“It is no surprised that he is so fearful of winning Minnesota that he has to resort to this hate because what he knows is that the Democratic power in Minnesota runs through turn out in the 5th District and we are going to make sure that he not only doesn’t win Minnesota but that he doesn’t get back to the White House,” she continued.
Later on in the interview, Omar said that “we are dealing with a clear uprising across the country where people are fed up and are ready for systematic change and instead of addressing those issues, he resorts to racist attacks and attacking immigrants.”
“Not only is he a racist, but he is a racist, xenophobic because he’s not against immigration, he’s just against immigrants who look like me,” she added.
