The 45th President Donald Trump continues to tease a possible 2024 presidential run and the latest way he has done so is by ReTruthing a primary poll from RSBN.
The poll shows Trump ahead by 30 points in a hypothetical matchup versus other possible GOP contenders.
Those contenders include Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who has been the subject of growing talk that he may run and even possibly beat Trump for the nomination if they go head to head.
According to the survey, 53 percent of potential Republican primary voters would support Trump over 15 other candidates while DeSantis was the second pick, receiving support from 23 percent.
A recent New York Magazine article was titled, “Trump Is Losing Ground to DeSantis in Poll After Poll”
The latest example of DeSantis’ burgeoning 2024 strength comes out of Michigan, the Intelligencer piece claimed.
A Michigan poll apparently shows that DeSantis is only trailing Trump by a mere three points, 45-42, among likely Republican voters in the state.
According to another poll taken of New Hampshire GOP voters in June, DeSantis holds a two-point lead in the key early primary state, after having trailed by 28 points a year ago.
Two other polls taken in Florida by not as well-known outfits found DeSantis ahead by 21 points and 12 points in his home state.
Ultimately though, on the national level, if Trump chooses to run, it seems unlikely that he could be topped barring something catastrophic.
