Former President Donald Trump unleashed today on U.S. Sen Mike Rounds (R-SD) who said yesterday that the 2020 presidential election was “fair” and asked, “Is he crazy or just stupid?”
Trump had endorsed Rounds ahead of the 2020 election and in a statement, vowed not to do that again after the two-term senator went on ABC’s “This Week.”
Rounds gave the liberals what they want by telling the news outlet, “The election was fair — as fair as we’ve seen. We simply did not win the election as Republicans for the presidency.”
In a swift rebuke, Trump responded, “Is he crazy or just stupid? The numbers are conclusive, and the fraudulent and irregular votes are massive.”
“The only reason he did this is because he got my endorsement and easily won his state in 2020, so now he thinks he has time, and those are the only ones, the weak, who will break away,” Trump insisted.
Trump added, “Even though his election will not be coming up for 5 years, I will never endorse this jerk again.”

President Donald J. Trump:
““Senator” Mike Rounds of the Great State of South Dakota just went woke on the Fraudulent Presidential Election of 2020. He made a statement this weekend on ABC Fake News, that despite massive evidence to the contrary, including much of it… pic.twitter.com/VXFglmh4gX
Rounds is likely feeling confident due to the fact that he received more votes than Trump and won by a wider margin in the election.
Of course, Trump won South Dakota in 2016 and 2020 by a greater margin than Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney defeated Barack Obama in the state in 2012 as well with significantly more votes.
Like many RINOs, Rounds believes that he is able to turn out the vote without Trump’s help and so he clearly has no problem casting aside the former president.
